Version 1.1
diet-submit
can submit jobs
on a machine through the use of a script.
This command takes in argument the name of the machine
on which we want to submit the script.
Table of Contents
diet-list
[--config diet_config_file]
--host machine
script
diet-submit
uses the configuration file diet_config_file
defined with the --config
option to be able to get information about the machine
defined with the --host
option.
If the --config
option is not set, diet-submit
will use $HOME/.diet/client.cfg. If this file does not exist, the path to the client configuration file could also be defined with the DIET_CLIENT_CONFIG environment variable.
Once diet-submit
has found the configuration file, the script
can then be submitted on the machine.
- [--config diet_config_file]
- Configuration file used by diet-submit
to be able to submit a script on machine.
This option can be omitted. In that case we fall back to the default configuration file $HOME/.diet/client.cfg. The configuration file path could also be defined through a environment variable : DIET_CLIENT_CONFIG.
- --host machine
- Name of the machine where we want to submit a job.
- -h|--help
- Some help about diet-submit.
- script

- $HOME/.diet/client.cfg
- Default configuration file for diet-submit.
- DIET_CLIENT_CONFIG

configuration file
