Synopsis

diet-mv [--config diet_config_file] source file destination file

Description

diet-mv uses the configuration file diet_config_file defined with the --config option to be able to get information about the host where the source file is located. If the --config option is not set, diet-mv will use $HOME/.diet/client.cfg. If this file does not exist, the path to the client configuration file could also be defined with the DIET_CLIENT_CONFIG environment variable.

diet-mv will move a source file to a destination mode. When moving a file a transfer id is generated. This id can be used to get the status of that transfer.

[--config diet_config_file]
Configuration file used by diet-mv to be able to get information about the host where the source file is located. This option can be omitted. In that case we fall back to the default configuration file $HOME/.diet/client.cfg. The configuration file path could also be defined through a environment variable : DIET_CLIENT_CONFIG.
