Latest news: we are very proud to announce the release of DIET 2.8 - codename SC11. Here is a short list of the major improvements over version 2.7:
  • Firewall Solution: new forwarders do not need a configuration file anymore, and they can be started at any time;
  • Internal communication calls are more robust;
  • A personal naming service designed for DIET: dietObject is a new tool that mimics the behavior of nameclt, but restricted to DIET CORBA objects;
  • Boost support: streamlined dependencies and compilation by using Boost;
  • Better code organization;
  • Plus the usual batch of bug fixes and minor tweaks!

We are very happy to announce the release of DIET 2.7 - codename LachaGore. It brings to the table significant improvements over version 2.6:
  • support for SLURM, the batch scheduler everyone is talking about these days;
  • administration functions are now accessible via an administrator API;
  • new man pages make it easier to use;
  • plus the usual batch of bug fixes and minor tweaks!
