Who am I

Name: Eddy Caron
Family: a wonderful wife named Isabelle, my fabulous son Teo and my marvelous daughter Cléa.

I’m an Assistant Professor at the LIP (Parallel Computing Lab.) located in the ”École Normale Supérieure de Lyon”.

I’m co-funder (with Frédérique Desprez and David Loureiro) of the SysFera company.

Mountain (snowboarding, skiing, mountain biking, mountain walking, …), Motorcycle, Country Music, Cinema, Comics, Starbucks Mugs …

06/10/2010. HDR. I gave my defense of my HDR (Habilitation à Diriger les Recherches) about "Contribution to the management of large scale platforms: the DIET experience".
27/04/2009. SysFera (previously named Graal Systems) is one of winners of the "Concours national à la création d'entreprises de technologies innovantes".
11/06/2007. DIET is choosen for Décrypthon. June 11th, 2007: Unvelling Day.
08/05/2007. Cléa. Birth of my daughter at 4:41 am.
02/09/2005 Teo. Birth of my son at 3:04 am.
18/10/2004. GDSDMI Cluster. GDSDMI cluster was born as prototype for Grid'5000 at Lyon. Now this cluster is available for research and DMI. More information
