2nd ''Scheduling in Aussois'' Workshop

Aussois, French Alps.   --   May 18-21, 2008.

Presentation École Normale Supérieure de Lyon, the University of California at San Diego and the University of Hawai'i at Manoa organize a scheduling workshop next year. This workshop will take place in Aussois (France) on May 18-21 (2008) and will be focused on scheduling for large scale systems. We already organized such a workshop in August 2004 in Aussois and in San Diego in November 2005, and their success motivates us greatly to repeat this event. This workshop will consist in thematic half-days mainly focused on scheduling and algorithms. Apart from the talks (about 20), plenty of time would be left for casual talks in the pleasant atmosphere of the French Alps. Although Aussois is a cute village in the heart of the French Alps, it is only four hours away from Paris with high speed train, and two hours away from Lyon.
