Some features may not be considered as extensions even if they can be qualified from useful to mandatory requirements depending on your platform: they are tools to deploy DIET more or less dynamically (Chapter 11 and the use of GODIET, and Chapter 17 to dynamically manage a hierarchy), to bypass firewalls with the help of ssh forwarders (Chapter 18), and to visualize logs and submissions states with LogService and VIZDIET (Chapter 12).
